Legal Counsel Germany (m/w/d)

These are your tasks:

• You will be the contact person for German and (international) colleagues on various legal issues.
• You draft and negotiate commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
• You advise on a variety of employment law matters that impact Nomios' business
• You advise on the various risks within Nomios' business activities (including contract interpretation and data protection)
• You will be involved in the further implementation and development of various policies within the wider European group (including training our staff)
• You play an important role in the management and further expansion of the legal department's information and digital systems, particularly from the German office
• You will be instrumental in identifying and anticipating the impact of developments in laws and regulations relevant to Nomios' business in Germany and the DACH region.

Interesting! What do I need for this role?

- Three to five years of professional experience in a legal role (e.g. as a legal trainee or corporate lawyer)
- At least a completed university degree
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in (German) civil law, particularly in the area of commercial contract practice
- Knowledge and experience in (German) labor law
- Affinity for IT systems and (interest in) legal tech solutions
- Experience with or interest in corporate social responsibility and ESG
- Knowledge and experience in data protection law (GDPR) and/or IT law is a plus
- Good command of German and English, both spoken and written (multilingualism is an advantage);
- You are a team player, pragmatic, commercially oriented, proactive and enthusiastic about new challenges;
