As a HR advisor you will focus on supporting key HR functions, with a strong emphasis on Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Management, and Works Council relations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of employee development initiatives, talent management strategies, and experience collaborating with employee representation bodies like Works Councils.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Learning & Development (L&D):

  • Develop and implement L&D strategies that align with the organization’s goals and workforce development needs.
  • Identify training and development opportunities through skills gap analysis and feedback from performance evaluations.
  • Partner with business leaders to design and deliver high-quality training programs, workshops, and e-learning solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.


2. Talent Management & development:

  • Adminstrate talent management initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, and individual development plans.
  • Support performance management processes, advising on the development of goals and performance improvement strategies.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous development.


3. Works Council & Employee Relations:

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for the Works Council, ensuring positive and productive relationships.
  • Advise on employment law compliance and handle employee consultations in collaboration with the Works Council.
  • Coordinate with the Works Council on policy changes, organizational restructuring, and other workforce-related matters.


4. General HR Support:

  • Provide day-to-day HR advisory services to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
  • Support the delivery of HR projects and initiatives across the business.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, labor laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.


Job requirements

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an HR Advisor or similar role with a focus on L&D, Talent Management, and Works Council relations.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, with excellent written and oral proficiency.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and talent development programs.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and employee relations practices.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior management and employee representation bodies.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
