Job description

Nomios' mission is to build a ‘secure and connected’ future. Organisations across Europe depend on us to help secure and connect their digital infrastructures.

As a Cyber Security Solutions Consultant, you’ll sit at the intersection of technology and sales, acting as both a trusted technical advisor and a strategic partner to clients. This is a genuinely hybrid role, blending deep technical understanding with consultative sales ability. You’ll help customers make sense of complex solutions, guide them through the buying journey, and ensure every engagement leads to a solution that’s not only effective but deliverable and sustainable.

Your role as Cyber Security Solutions Consultant

You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Sales Team and the wider Solutions team, supporting customers throughout the full pre-sales cycle. Your work will span:

  • Engaging directly with customers through introductory and discovery calls, uncovering their business challenges, technical requirements, and future goals.

  • Take ownership of solution design and scoping, building accurate Bills of Materials, proposals, and scopes of work that align with customer needs and Nomios service capabilities.

  • Lead technical demonstrations and proof of concepts that bring our solutions to life, helping customers clearly see their value and fit.

  • Manage the technical elements of RFPs and RFIs, developing customer-focused responses that strengthen our competitive position.

  • Partner closely with the Sales team to shape and execute sales strategies, combining technical credibility with commercial awareness to guide opportunities to success.

  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching cyber security market trends, exploring new cyber security technologies, and achieving relevant certifications that enhance your expertise.

  • Share knowledge across the business by training and enabling colleagues, helping sales teams build confidence in our technologies and solutions.

  • Contribute to Nomios’ broader strategy and messaging, collaborating with marketing and the sales teams to showcase our technical capabilities and subject matter expertise.

Job requirements

We hire result-oriented, smart, and high-energy individuals who bring a can-do attitude and a genuine willingness to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional outcomes. You’ll combine strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently, both internally and with customers.

To excel in this role, you will have a blend of the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering cybersecurity solutions from one or more of the following vendors - Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, or Netskop etc.

  • A consultative mindset, able to translate complex technical issues into clear business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of modern security architectures, including SIEM, SOAR, and Managed Security Services.

  • Exposure to advanced security domains such as DDoS protection, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Vulnerability Management.

You’ll play a central role in bridging the gap between sales and technical delivery, ensuring every deal we close can be delivered, supported, and scaled. You will be helping customers and internal teams make decisions that are technically sound, commercially viable, and strategically aligned with Nomios’ mission.

Continuous learning is central to this role; we’re committed to providing ongoing training and development to ensure you stay at the forefront of industry innovation and technical excellence.
