Business Development Representative
What would your job entail?
As a BDR at Nomios, you are a hunter at heart. You are the first link in our commercial process and play a key role in growing our customer base. You focus on creating new opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. Your mission is to prospect, spark interest, create pipeline, open doors, and set the stage for our Account Managers to close deals. While your primary focus is on hunting and generating new leads, you are also responsible for the accounts you discover and successfully close, ensuring ownership of the opportunities you bring into the business.
In short:
Actively hunt for new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, …)
Prospect, research, and map target accounts to build a strong pipeline in the Belgian Enterprise/SMB market.
Qualify both inbound and outbound leads on needs, challenges, and fit with our solutions.
Keep your outreach and pipeline activities accurate and up to date in our CRM system.
Collaborate with our marketing manager to fine-tune campaigns and sharpen prospecting strategies.
Share market and account insights with sales to accelerate opportunities and close more deals.
Job requirements
What are we looking for in our Business Development Representative?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related commercial field.
Knowledge of, and experience in the field of cybersecurity or network infrastructure is required.
You have a hunter mentality: eager to prospect, resilient, and motivated by opening new doors.
Result-oriented and commercially minded: you don’t give up easily and love working towards targets.
You are curious, social, and able to build trust quickly in a first conversation.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken: clear, convincing, and adaptable to different audiences.
Experience with CRM tools is a plus, but not required.
You are fluent in spoken and written English, Dutch, and French.
You live in Belgium, making it easy to work from our office in Zaventem.
