We’re looking for a highly organised, analytical PMO Analyst to support project governance, financial accuracy, and resource planning across our networking, cybersecurity, and managed services projects. You will ensure that project data, reporting, and financials are reliable and that delivery teams follow consistent PMO standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Governance & Reporting

    • Maintain the project portfolio register with accurate status, milestones, risks, and budgets.

    • Produce weekly/monthly dashboards and KPI updates.

    • Support compliance activities (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, internal audits).

  • Resource Management

    • Maintain resource allocation plans and track capacity, utilisation, and availability.

    • Flag resource conflicts, shortages, or over-allocation.

    • Ensure forecasts align with project timelines and commercial commitments.

  • Financial Tracking & POC Updates

    • Ensure weekly updates of POC (percentage of completion) for all active projects.

    • Track budgets, burn rates, and earned value; flag any deviations.

    • Identify project overruns, under-recovery of hours, or commercial discrepancies.

  • Project Administration & Invoicing Integrity

    • Validate project financial administration and time-entry accuracy.

    • Identify incorrect or delayed invoicing triggers and escalate issues.

    • Support revenue recognition by ensuring all commercial and delivery data is accurate.

  • Project Support & PMO Operations

    • Assist PMs with scheduling, RAID logs, and documentation.

    • Maintain PMO templates, processes, and tools for consistency.

    • Ensure data integrity across Jira, PPM tools, SharePoint, and reporting dashboards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with Finance, Sales, Engineering, and PMs to ensure aligned forecasting and timely invoicing.

    • Provide clear updates on risks, deviations, and corrective actions.

Job requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Essential:

    • 1–3 years’ experience in PMO, project coordination, or project support.

    • Strong analytical and numerical skills; excellent attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and project/PPM tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).

    • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Desirable:

    • Experience in cybersecurity, networking, telco, or IT services.

    • Understanding of project financials (POC, revenue recognition, budgets).

    • Knowledge of ISO governance and project delivery methodologies.

  • Personal Attributes

    • Detail-oriented, structured, and dependable.

    • Confident identifying and escalating issues.

    • Comfortable working with data, numbers, and fast-paced environments.

    • Continuous improvement mindset.
