In support of our continued UK growth, we are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office to lead and successfully deliver projects to our customers or internal stakeholders as required. This is a great opportunity for an individual with at least five years’ experience in project management in a networking, telecommunications, or cyber-security environment.
Your role as Project Manager
You will be involved in all elements of the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and project scoping, right through to successful solution delivery and handover to our Support, Managed Service and SOC teams.
On a day-to-day basis, you will liaise with internal teams, customer representatives, and external third-parties to deliver your assigned projects in a professional and competent manner. Your projects will need to be delivered on time, within budget and to the high quality levels expected from our customers.
The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified, results-driven, detail-orientated individual, with exceptional communication skills and previous experience in a similar role, ready for their next challenge.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
Requirements gathering and documenting project scope
Development of Work Breakdown Structures or other techniques to breakdown complex requirements into manageable workstreams
Bid management and creation of bid responses
Planning all phases of project delivery from a basic POC to complex, multi-phase, multi-site deployments
Defining and documenting project controls
Producing and maintaining project documentation or tooling
Carrying out risk identification, analysis, ownership allocation and monitoring
Managing budgets, resources, and dependencies on assigned projects
Controlling project scope and managing project change effectively
Managing project issues through to successful conclusion
Defining communication strategies and delivering exceptional communications on all projects
Facilitating smooth interaction between all departments involved in each project
Reporting project performance
Finding innovative solutions to complex problems
Managing time and workloads to produce successful outcomes
Managing all levels of stakeholders across all projects
Job requirements

Additional requirements include:
PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification (or similar)
Degree or equivalent preferred
Five years’ project management experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent MS Office skills
Organised and professional with the ability to multi-task
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Ability to work independently and to remain calm under pressure
Full UK driving licence
Job Specifics
This role is based at our Basingstoke office with homeworking by prior agreement - free hot & cold drinks, breakfast items, snacks, lunches, and regular takeaway Fridays are provided to all staff in the office!
Hours are full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
There will be some travel with overnight stays in the UK and abroad where necessary
