As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall employee experience.

Reporting to the HR Director, the ideal candidate should have solid experience in HR administration and be familiar with Dutch labor law and HR procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • HR Administration: Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including employee records management, contract preparation, and managing employee changes and updates (mutations).

  • Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company. This includes preparing employment contracts, setting up necessary documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and providing the necessary tools and resources.

  • Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring all necessary exit procedures are completed. This includes conducting exit interviews, processing final payments, and ensuring the return of company property.

  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll administration, including ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, processing payroll mutations, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.

  • Visas and Work Permits: Assist with the application and renewal of work visas and permits, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • 30% Ruling: Manage and process the 30% ruling applications for eligible employees, ensuring compliance with tax authorities.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll, providing guidance and resolving issues as needed.

  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with Dutch labor laws and company policies.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and payroll data.

  • HR Projects: Support and participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR administration role.

  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English.

  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience with onboarding and off-boarding processes.

  • Experience with payroll administration, visa applications, and the 30% ruling.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
