Job description

Nomios' mission is to build a 'secure and connected' future. Organisations across the globe depend on us to help secure and connect their digital infrastructures.

In support of our continued and rapid growth, we are currently recruiting for a Solutions Consultant - SecOps. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, using your industry, vendor and services knowledge to help them detect, investigate and respond to threats using Nomios security operations solutions and services.

The CDOC is one of the most strategically important and fastest-growing areas of the Nomios business. As customers place greater emphasis on detection, response, exposure management and managed security operations, this function is becoming central to how Nomios helps organisations improve cyber resilience. This role gives you the opportunity to work close to that growth, helping shape how we take CDOC-led services to market and how customers understand the value of our security operations capability.

Your role as Solutions Consultant - SecOps

This is an opportunity to help shape a growing SecOps solutioning function, influence how Nomios brings Microsoft Security and wider CDOC services to market, and develop into a trusted owner of customer opportunities across our cyber security portfolio.

As a customer-facing Solutions Consultant, you will combine technical expertise, services knowledge and commercial awareness to help customers address security operations challenges through the right mix of technology, managed services and professional services.

Reporting to the SecOps Solutions Architect, you will support Account Managers and customers across three key solution domains:

  • SecOps – SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, automation, AI-assisted triage and threat intelligence.

  • Exposure Management – vulnerability management, CTEM and attack path analysis.

  • Email Security.

You will work closely with our Cyber Defence Operations Centre (CDOC), representing our Managed SOC, Managed VOC and Threat Intelligence services, and confidently explaining how they deliver security outcomes for customers.

While you will support opportunities across the wider security portfolio, your initial area of deeper ownership will be the Microsoft security stack, particularly Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.

As you develop in the role, you will take increasing ownership of customer engagements, from discovery and solution design through to demonstrations, proposals, RFIs/RFPs and customer presentations. You will also contribute to sales enablement, technical content and customer-facing collateral to help drive SecOps growth across the business.

This is a fast-paced role that sits between Sales, customers, vendors and delivery teams. You will help identify and qualify opportunities, shape technical and service propositions, support customer engagements and play a key role in the continued growth of our security operations business.

The Solutions Consultant - SecOps will typically be involved in the following activities:

  • Act as the SecOps specialist in customer meetings, workshops and technical presentations.

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, risks and business drivers.

  • Design technically credible and commercially viable security solutions aligned to customer outcomes.

  • Build bills of materials and supporting solution designs.

  • Deliver demonstrations, workshops and presentations across the security portfolio, with an initial focus on Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.

  • Represent and articulate the value of Nomios CDOC services, including Managed SOC, Managed VOC and Threat Intelligence.

  • Support the sales cycle through qualification, solution design, proposals, RFIs and RFPs.

  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials, proposal content and technical collateral.

  • Provide training and guidance to sales teams to improve opportunity identification and qualification.

  • Work closely with Service Owners, delivery teams and vendors to ensure solutions reflect current capabilities and best practice.

  • Maintain awareness of market trends, emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps.

  • Support marketing initiatives, webinars, customer events and thought leadership activities.

  • Manage multiple opportunities and workstreams simultaneously while maintaining high standards of delivery.

  • Provide customer and market feedback to support the continued evolution of the SecOps portfolio.
