We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, providing hardware and software support, managing service desk tickets, maintaining operating systems, overseeing mobile device management, and managing IT assets effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong stakeholder management and customer-centricity.

Responsibilities:

Hardware & Infrastructure Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

  • Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance.

  • Assist in the procurement and deployment of IT hardware in alignment with company standards.

Ticket & Incident Management:

  • Manage and resolve service desk tickets efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Prioritize, escalate, and track incidents based on severity and business impact.

  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of ticket resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and system updates.

Software & Application Support:

  • Provide technical support for a range of enterprise applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Assist users with software-related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to test, deploy, and manage software updates and patches.

Operating System Administration & Maintenance:

  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Ensure system performance, stability, and security through regular maintenance and updates.

  • Stay updated with best practices and new developments in system environments.

Mobile Device Management (MDM):

  • Administer and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Azure and Jamf.

  • Configure, deploy, and enforce security policies on mobile devices to ensure compliance.

  • Troubleshoot MDM-related issues and provide end-user training as required.

IT Asset & Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.

  • Oversee asset tracking, tagging, lifecycle management, and disposal processes.

  • Conduct periodic asset audits and ensure compliance with company IT policies.

Stakeholder Management & Customer-Centric Approach:

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand IT requirements and provide effective solutions.

  • Foster strong relationships with business units to ensure IT aligns with organizational goals.

  • Provide high-quality, customer-centric support, ensuring a positive end-user experience.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve issues and drive IT improvements.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in System Administration or a similar IT support role.

  • Strong proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools such as Azure and Jamf.

  • In-depth knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software support, and OS maintenance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities with a customer-centric approach.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, ensuring smooth IT operations across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and virtualization.

  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Jamf Certification, or CompTIA A+.
