Enterprise Security Architect

  • Hybrid
    • Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom
  • Solutions

Job description

Nomios' mission is to build a ‘secure and connected’ future. Organisations across Europe depend on us to help secure and connect their digital infrastructures.

As an Enterprise Security Architect, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to multiple customers, translating complex security challenges into practical, strategic, and technically robust solutions. You’ll be deeply technical yet highly customer-facing, building strong relationships, understanding business needs, and designing architectures that are both secure and commercially aligned.

Your role as Enterprise Security Architect

You’ll collaborate closely with our Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to design and articulate enterprise security solutions that drive long-term value for our customers. Your work will include:

  • Engaging directly with customers through meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand their current security landscape, business objectives, and future challenges.

  • Designing end-to-end enterprise security architectures that align with best practice frameworks and customer requirements.

  • Acting as a technical authority throughout the pre-sales and early delivery cycle, shaping solutions that are both achievable and strategically sound.

  • Leading technical presentations, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.

  • Partnering with Sales and Account teams to support strategic opportunities, providing technical credibility and thought leadership.

  • Staying ahead of emerging cyber security technologies and frameworks to ensure Nomios remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Job requirements

We hire result-oriented, smart, and high-energy individuals who bring a can-do attitude and a genuine willingness to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional outcomes. We’re looking for a cyber security expert who enjoys working with people as much as technology. You’ll combine deep technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills and a consultative mindset.

To succeed in this role, you’ll likely have:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cyber security solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, or Netskope, and familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and managed security services.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture frameworks (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, ISO 27001).

  • A confident, engaging personality with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence decision-making.

  • The desire to work across multiple customers, shaping their security strategy and acting as a long-term trusted partner.

Job Specifics

  • Location: This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance in our Manchester office and requiring occasional attendance at our HQ in Basingstoke

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, with occasional evening or weekend work if required
